Complete Mage has crossover prestige classes for Warlock/Mage and Warlock/Cleric, yes.
No, it's not, because retraining can never cause you to lose prerequisites for something you'll have after the retraining. Your build still has to be something you could have achieved without retraining.
You -can- use Sanctum Spell, Precocious Apprentice, or one of a couple other things to cheat your way in with only 1 level of Wizard, though.
Well, part of the gag to it is that: 1) from the SRD: "Prestige classes offer a new form of multiclassing. Unlike the basic classes, characters must meet Requirements before they can take their first level of a prestige class." So, technically, once you have the first level, you are golden. The only prequisite for later levels are the previous levels. 2) Although retraining can never cause you to lose prerequisites for something you'll have after the retraining, this character always has access to 2nd level arcane spells and mysteries and 6 ranks of knowledge (arcana) and knowledge (the planes) even after losing the retraining levels. 3) I think you have me here with the bootstapping between Mystic Theurge and Noctumancer. If the build has to be possible without retraining, what about memory wipes or wish spells? Or just permanent level drain? What did you use to get a fireball at fourth level with the squid-mage?
1) Was erratta'd as of Complete Warrior. IF you lose the prerequisites for a prestige class at any time, you lose all the abilities granted by it, including spellcasting, and a prestige class cannot qualify (or disqualify) you for itself. That's why a Dragon Disciple (who turns into a dragon at level 10, which means he no longer qualifies for Dragon Disciple) doesn't lose his powers
( ... )
3) Actually, not Evil on those spells. Embrace the Dark Chaos is [Chaotic], and Shun the Dark Chaos has no alignment tag. They -are- level 8 Cleric/Sorc/Wiz, though, so it's not an easy task. They're also 250 XP each, rather than 50. So it's 500 XP per feat swap.
