I got my prosthetic shell for my "bad" eye today!!:) I'm excited! It took from 1pm to 6pm to drive an hour, sit in the waiting room for an hour, 2 hour appointment for fitting and having it adjusted and learning to put it in and out myself and an hour drive home. So it was definately a long day and the shell is VERY expensive but I'm hoping well ( Read more... )

It always seems that you wait the longest amounts of time for somethin' that doesn't really take much time at all! LOL

Thanks so much for the advice and enthusiasm. YAY!! I'm excited about it too. I'm not sure if you misunderstood but it's not a whole eyeball its only a shell that goes over my own eyeball to make it look like my normal other eye. :) Do you ever feel like it doesn't want to move properly with your other eye and like it's really dry underneath it and eye drops don't really help?
