I'm wondering if migraine medicine is making me prone to more migraines.
There is a definite possibility. I'm sure you know about the rebound phenomenon? From a study by USA Today: '"Rebound headache," as the little-understood phenomenon is known, can stem from too much caffeine or prescription migraine drugs, as well as non-prescription pain relievers.'
This is one reason why I stay away from any medications for my migraines, no matter how bad they get. I'd rather have a bad one every month then an almost-as-bad one every day or two.
