And we are LIVE! The Facebook game I've been working on for months launched this morning.

A number of them look nifty, such as your new one, but I dislike Zynga's attitude toward my information.

All FB games do this, in order to populate your friend connections which are a necessary part of playing social games. Hence the name "social".

What I did was create an alt and I only play games through the alt. No genuine information. ;)

Yes, it's Flash-based and iPad requires HTML5, so it would be a major port. I suspect they'll do it at some point, if only because the competition has done it and it's making them money. ;)

I can't figure out how to play this. Is there something to download to my iPad, or do I need to play it on a browser, or what? The only other game I play through Facebook is Words With Friends, so I'm a neophyte at this.

You play it through your browser via Facebook. You would need to have a FB account, do a search for Hidden Chronicles, accept the app and play.
