On Sat., I had a good, long walk with the weather perfectly balanced between a late summer day and an early crisp autumn day. I did a 2.3 mile walk through the wild parts of a park in order to get in a short time away from people where I could hear the sounds I wanted to hear: trees creaking in the wind, leaves rustling, water gurgling over rocks,

I went to WorldCon over the week-end, and discovered that Chris Garcia (editor of The Drink Tank zine, among others) is a massive fanboy of yours. SO someday, if I surprise you at a con with a beardy guy in tow who just starts stammering and crying as I attempt to introduce him... that's Chris.

His love is pure! And it think it might be based on GI Joe. But I assured him you were at least 3x as awesome IRL as you seem from interviews and the like, if not more. He was my "date" for the Hugos on Sunday, and is one of the sweetest guys around.

I like the hunter and death knight changes, but am confused about paladin and warrior. Still haven't really tried the rogue or mage changes. I've almost got most of my characters up to 85, and I hope by the time Mists comes out they all will be. It will make it easier.

I switched to BM Hunter, so I have to learn everything all over again. Rogues no longer have to buy poisons or have throwing weapons. Otherwise, they seem much the same. I think it's the Shaman changes that will cause me the most headache.
