We had a visitor today - the red-shouldered hawk. She was alert and I only managed to snap off one quick shot before she was gone.

I have at least one Red Tailed Hawk that hangs out in my 'hood these days, between the other smaller birds, the squirrels and the chipmunks (and the occassional field mouse) my place is like a dine and dash buffett for predators.

Our hawk is welcome to come back for all the pigeons she wants. Unfortunately, the crows are inadvertently protecting the pigeons.
