I was in the grocery store doing the week's shopping and I saw a kid about ten or twelve years old. The kid was having an ongoing video conference with her mother who was telling her what to buy. So the kid is there and the mother is who knows where doing the shopping by kid proxy. The kid would say "I don't know what X Product looks like." The

That's one way to get the shopping done.

My stepmom would send me to the grocery store with a list (which included cigarettes, beer and wine upon occassion) and when I got to the checkout counter, I would use their phone (this is before bar codes and scanners too.. ) and call my stepmom at work, which was right across the street from the store, and she would come over to finalize the transaction, then it would get loaded up into my vehicle, and I would then take it home and put it away.

Of course I would put a couple of things in for me before she got there.. a paperback book or two... I wasnt cheap.. grin.
