So I'm off travelling and I intend to blog about it. I have decided to stick with what I know for blogging (ie LJ or similar) but am considering a new account for my travel blog so that I can give it to work people and others without worrying about them getting to my personal stuff trivially ( Read more... )

Further tip - for more convenient blogging and updating and whatnot, I recommend having a look at Posterous. You can put in a blog post with all the bells and whistles by just writing an e-mail and attaching photos/etc. Means you can very quickly and easily update from a phone and so on.

Livejournal seems to allowing posting by e-mail as long as you have the appropriate account type and so on including image stuff. Its a good idea though that I will bear in mind since it might make it quicker to get blog posts done (though the current plan was a quick image upload followed by copying and pasting text into an LJ window which probably wouldn't be that much slower...
