So today I finally decided to buy the wireless gaming adapter for the xbox - we've been talking about getting the xbox online for a while and I figured that while I was at home it would be a good time to do it. Having decided to buy the official adapter for xbox and brought it home I eagerly opened it up and plugged it in - to find it didn't work. ( Read more... )

Well, if you ask BT, it's impossible. It is however depressing how they've now cost-down'd technology so far that it actually no longer works.

What they're actually doing is following the example of Microsoft, who are clearly the market leader in operating systems, and they crash all the time. Now, to me, that's the same as "doesn't work". So all the other manufacturers see that and think "wow, Bill gates, he's got rich by making stuff that doesn't work and selling it -- let's do the same thing!".

OK, I'll stop ranting now and go away and write some 6502 code or something...

Perhaps it's the game store selling the same ones over and over until they hand it off to a person who can't be bothered returning?
