Kchan NEWS Highlights (21 Feb 2012)
Four of them in a recording = lots of laughter and love.

It started off with their self-introductions and Keichan quizzed Massu on his lack of excitement (re: low tension) And then Tegoshi remarked that Massu was only wearing a short sleeved top in the midst of winter while both (Shige and Tego) had shawls wrapped around them (Btw, Tego actually used ‘TegoShige’ here)
After ‘Koi no ABO’ was played…
Keichan: Uwah!! Isn’t Massu’s tension really high now!
Massu: No.. it’s not high…
Keichan: I couldn’t tell that after you’ve jumped so high! Oooh!
Tego: Dancing! Dancing to ABO!
Shige: Ahahahaha! Radio program’s awesome!!
A fan wrote in to ask about the dinner the four of them went together a while ago. (According to Keichan’s jweb, they had a late dinner at a Japanese restaurant)
Massu teased Keichan by saying ‘we didn’t go, did we?’ but soon said that they did go for dinner together. (Evil Massu) Then Keichan asked the rest what they thought of the Japanese restaurant…
Shige: Would have been better if it was sushi.
Massu: Even though we’ve asked for sushi…
Keichan: I know you’ve said that but the time, the time!
Massu: But eating yakiniku at such a late hour… that’s not good for health
And the bullying continues. Tego was only there for 30 mins because of a prior appointment so he didn’t have a chance to eat anything. And told Keichan that he’ll be waiting for unagi and ootoro sushi next! Shige remarked that the 3rd time would be Keichan’s last chance…. LOL.
Next letter read was about the ‘NEWS’ acronym. The fan wrote that the acronym had ‘N’ as ‘Newscaster Koyama’, ‘E’ as ‘Entertainer Tegoshi, ‘W’ as ‘Writer Kato’ but ‘S’ was just ‘Smile (Massu)’
Massu: HAHAHA this is a little… (continues laughing)
Keichan: The fan who wrote this letter suggested ‘Stylist’
Shige thought that ‘Stylist’ is fitting since Massu was a stylist (he designed the stage costumes for the LIVEx3 concert). And then Keichan said that since Massu sang ‘Superman’, he feels that ‘Superman’ is appropriate too. So Shige asked Massu what he would like to be thought/referred as.
Massu: What would I like to be thought as? (laughs) I don’t know (laughs)
Keichan: Have a think about it.
Shige: Superman
Massu: ‘Shigeaki’ is good, isn’t it?
Keichan: Super-Masuda? Very Masuda?
Massu: Very.
Keichan: Swimmer! Swimmer!
Massu: Why is mine the only one that’s not related to work?!
Shige: (laughs) But ‘smile’ is the best!
And then they went on to demonstrate how they would introduce themselves as ‘NEWS’ in a concert.
Keichan: N, Newscaster Koyama!
Tego: E, Entertainer Tegoshi!
Shige: Writer Kato!
Massu: Hi, (it’s) Swimmer here…
And everyone broke into laughter at this point. And Keichan thought that it (Massu’s 'Swimmer') was a little weak.
The following letter was about Tego’s hair. She wanted to know what the others think of Tego’s hair
They had a discussion on who first saw his new hair colour. Massu said he first saw it when he was recording Tegomass radio program and joked about Tegoshi turning old during the recording. Keichan saw it when Tego was at the studio for itteQ! And Shige saw it when they did the interviews together. Apparently Tego had to bleach his hair four times. And he said he did it because he wanted to look like a character in a computer game (Final fantasy, I think!). Massu also said that it’s difficult keeping his red hair - he goes to the salon fortnightly! And Keichan goes to the salon once every month.
The last few minutes were dedicated to ‘oyasumi’ and ‘pamyu’. They took turns to say oyasumi and somewhere along the way, Tego broke out into TegoPamyu mode and sang ‘Tsukema Tsukema’ (see links below for Pamyu and the song)
They also announced that next week’s Kchan NEWS will continue to have the four of them in the studio. Shige expressed disbelief in Massu doing the ‘Fantasy kiss’ segment and Massu joked that he hasn’t seen such a cute expression from Shige in a while.
