My first ever meme, which I've stolen it from dear Cris chan (^___^)
1. That you’re doing this, we can assume you like NEWS at least some. Would you consider them your favorite Johnny’s Entertainment group?
~ NEWS and TegoMass (yes I do consider them as different units, since Tegoshi and Massu would like to think of TM as that too) are the only JE groups I like. I've known SMAP, Kinki Kids, Kattun and Arashi quite some time before NEWS but can't say I like them.
2. Can you name all 4 current members?
~ Kei chan, Shige, Goshi san and Massu!
3. What about the 5 not currently around?
~ Uchi, Kusano, Yamapi, and Ryo chan. I'm not sure about the last guy....

~ I follow jdramas quite a bit and have always known Yamapi as an actor (since 'long love letter') and heard that he was part of this group called NEWS.
6. What was your first impression of NEWS?
~ The first songs I heard were Hadashi no Cinderella and Akai Hana. To be honest they didn't do much for me... I thought it sounded very jpop-ish.
7. How did you come to like NEWS?
~ Code Blue was the drama that did it for me and made me find out more about Yamapi and this group called NEWS. I bought their LIVEX3 DVD to see what NEWS was about and it didn't take long before TegoMass caught my attention (I have a thing for people who can sing) And I love Sakura Girl's performance in that concert.
8. What do you think is NEWS strongest point when compared to other JE/music/talent groups?
~ I would say, compared to other JE groups, they can sing. Then again I personally think that TegoMass are the ones who make the difference. Other than singing, each member has a clear talent that sets them apart from one another. Keichan - MC; Shige - his literary talent, insights & photography skills; Tegoshi - soccer and singing; Massu - his dancing and singing.

~ Not really. I'm listening to L'Arc~en~Ciel and Yuzu.

~ Not really... though i've converted my husband and my Japanese teacher into TegoMass fans... XD And the classmates from my Japanese class into itteQ fans. XD Oh i did the 48 hour JE countdown after my Japanese lesson (because of the time difference) and counted down with two of my teachers, only to have the server crashed on us. XDDD

On a side note, I received HYDE's (L'Arc~en~Ciel's vocalist) self-penned autobiography in the post today, Flipping through the book, I saw Tego's name mentioned under a section called 'Pals'* HYDE mentioned that Tegoshi is one of the people he'll meet in private, for drinks and what not. The other two names mentioned (yasu and DAIGO) are from jrock bands while Tego's the only one from an idol group. Anyway, seeing this mention made me really happy and I'm still hoping for Tego to cover 'Hitomi no jyuunin'. After all HYDE mentioned Tegoshi in his book!! XDDDDDD

~ It took quite a while but it was fun!! I hope to see NEWS on TV soon and performing a song together, any song to be honest, i'm not fussed.
On a side note, I received HYDE's (L'Arc~en~Ciel's vocalist) self-penned autobiography in the post today, Flipping through the book, I saw Tego's name mentioned under a section called 'Pals'* HYDE mentioned that Tegoshi is one of the people he'll meet in private, for drinks and what not. The other two names mentioned (yasu and DAIGO) are from jrock bands while Tego's the only one from an idol group. Anyway, seeing this mention made me really happy and I'm still hoping for Tego to cover 'Hitomi no jyuunin'. After all HYDE mentioned Tegoshi in his book!! XDDDDDD
