I had the joy of having my oldest daughter be able to vote yesterday too. It has been awsome watching her weigh the issues and make her own informed decision. Her Dad is a staunch republican where as I hold no particular party affiliation rather I vote for the best person to be able to do the job. Watching Kidling D grow into a mature young adult and weighing the issues and holding honest discussions with her peers, myself and other family members was rather gratifying. Her Dad's a tad miffed that she just isnt blindly following his lead and questions his beliefs but oh well... I'm glad! LOL
