Now, though, I branch out a little and limit some things since I do the holiday on my own and in my own way. This year, I'm making a chicken breast/stuffing thing in the crockpot for the main course. I'm having casserole potatoes (frozen hashbrowns, sour cream, cream of potato/celery soups baked in oven), and I'm making cranberry fluff (cherry jello, can of whole cranberries, sour cream) instead. I'm having Pumpkin Spice petit fours that I picked up Seventh Avenue, rather than making (and eating) a whole pie.
To me, the MUST HAVES are stuffing, green bean casserole, something cranberry-ish and pumpkin-ish. Other than that, I've become more flexible. I love the smell of roasting turkey, but I don't require it anymore. I guess I don't deviate much, but I make the same old things in some different ways.
