I'm still in disbelief about how fucking amazing this was and how many levels there were to it...drama, comedy, horror, ACTION...and all of it good!...my friend Elyse knows nothing about Batman, and was entertained and really liked it, without feeling lost...I know more than I should about Batman, and was fucking thrilled with everything they were able to fit in; references, hints, personalities; without throwing it in your face...

I thought at first "how did she know it was my birthday?" since it had been the day before...but when I opened the card I teared up because you are the sweetest most lovely thoughtful wonderful former cohost a girl could ever have! my roommate Elyse was there and she read it as well. she looked up and said "you see? you should never be sad when you are surrounded by friends like this who care about you this much."
the outlets in the apartment are all upside-down, which is sort of silly...it's even sillier because I insist on plugging in the Batman nightlight and it sits upside-down as well...but I don't care because I love it
