i've been feeling my body age and it is very strange. i am 27, and already i have chronic pain. twenty-seven is not old at all, but i can feel the beginnings of the slow decline. ha

im starting to work out to get off excess weight and feel better all around. ive been riding an exercise bike but what i want to do is go swimming. if im not mistaken, swimming is way OK for yr foot and is awesome fun exercise.
im pretty much the same age as you and i feel crazy old too. i guess thats just growing up.
i just did some research online about stretches i can do with my feet and lower legs. i think that will help get me back out there. swimming!!!!! me too. omg i miss swimming. it's the whole bathing suit thing that has scared me away from it for so long. i am so self-conscious about my body and swimsuits are not flattering. i think i just need to get over that and get in the water. swimming would be the best exercise for me. it's all-over cardio. there's public pools here in san francisco that are really cheap, all you have to do is buy "swim tickets."
Starbucks and Whole Foods have really great insurance coverage plans offered to their employees, and it's not that hard to get a job there, and you don't have to work full-time to get it either. That's the only quick and easy way I know to get some coverage. I hope something works out for you! I know how vicious our country's medical services can be. Even though I have *some* insurance...the prices are fucking cutting. Ugh. And of course we're one of the only democratic countries left without tax-subsidized health care. /rant
If it makes you feel any better I started getting chronic back pains when I was 17. Nothin' says I'm old like "I've fallen and I can't get up". ;)
i've heard about starbucks and whole foods too, eh? that's cool. thanks for the tip. :) i've been looking at getting individual coverage from blue cross/blue shield or soemthing like that, but every time i get on there the terminology sets my head spinning. our health care stinks.
aw man. chronic back pain? that's bad. i'm sorry. :( "I've fallen and I can't get up" lol! you might wait to get one of thos life alert systems. they're hot. haha ;)
