"while skateboarding w/ my son last night i fell at a high rate of speed. i had a helmet on and luckily my vision + hearing returned to normal in a few minutes. The swelling in my arm hasn't gone down, so i went after work to get x-rays. my left elbow is quite broken and they think the specialists will want to operate immediately tomorrow

how is it you managed to work around a busted elbow for a day??? and they got you a specialist? to operate? IMMEDIATELY?!?! holy shit!

my elbow wasn't too bad if i held it at keyboard height. if i raised my arm too high then the pain was intense (using muscles attached to bone that was no longer attached)
