Cool idea for the day I design a house:

There is some evidence that humans are most comfortable when the radiation temperature is higher than the air temperature. i wonder if floors instead of walls would work better? or would that heat the room/air too much?

maybe we should just use radiators again. go 1850s chic!

Well, you need some airflow to maintain the disequilibrium in any case. Perhaps the ceiling would be best for efficiency, but I'm not sure you want to simulate the position of solar radiation too. It would make sleeping more comfortable, though....

Radiant floor heat is wonderful in this respect. Warm feet and cool air = happy Jesse. :)
