Having a direction is always helpful, healthy, and hard. You have to find your own, and go after it. When people can't pressure you into something because YOU'RE the one motivating you to do it, well, it's a hell of a lot more rewarding.

Don't listen to other people's expectations. Instead, make up your own.

And the playfulness is awesome!
