“Hoeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!”

Sakura was late. Again.

She hastily put on her rollerblades, bid her father and brother goodbye, and skated out into the street. Naoko had called her the night before that the whole class 6-2 of Tomoeda Elementary was going to spend the afternoon together with lots of food and fun games to celebrate their play’s success, and while Sakura had intended to come earlier to help out with the preparations, well… she woke up late. That wasn’t new, really, but for once she had wanted to be early.

She arrived in school, panting, and after putting her rollerblades inside her locker, hurried to meet the others at the cafeteria. They had the whole place to themselves that afternoon, and Tomoyo’s mother had been so kind to arrange for a catering service. She entered and was amazed, spending a moment to take a good look around, green eyes wide in wonder. It no longer looked like a cafeteria. There were decorations all over and they were really pretty, and there was a small stage in front. And balloons and ribbons, too.

Tomoyo arrived early to help the caterers and the decorating. She wated everything to be perfect for the celebration of her dear cousin's performance. Though, technically it was cut short. Still, their play was a success and that made Tomoyo very happy.

She wasn't at all surprised to see her cousin late. She always was. Before she could go greet her, she was had to finish speaking with the caterers and signing a few documents in place of her mother who unfortunately had business with the company to take care of. Also, she told them about the arrangement.

Once that was done, she made her way towards her cousin. "Sakura-chan, you finally arrived!" She took her cousin by the hand and pulled her towards the nearest comfort room. "I made another outfit for you that will be perfect for you to wear to the party! Sakura-chan must look pretty for the party."

She smiled and turn towards her. "A not pretty Sakura-chan is just not done." She lowered her voice to a whisper. "Also, it will make Li-kun very happy."
