what the hell. my laptop monitor broke, so I ordered a new LCD and installed it (19 hours; I have new respect for Dell). then literally ONE SECOND after I turn it on it whitescreens. MY GRAPHICS CARD DIED ( Read more... )

I've heard sooo many Dell horror stories, at least when it comes to laptops. That just blows.

you're kidding! I love my dell. I abuse it SOSO much, tossing it all over the place and spilling orange juice and a box of tiny beads over it and taking it out in the snow and rain and it's still running perfectly...

what model do you have?

my screen shattered and the cable to it (the videocard can't break actually; it's onboard so unless the mobo failed it wouldn't) keeps coming undone
