Hey hey.. picture time.

Dec 14, 2005 01:24

Hey hey...
this entry will be devoted to the works of Photoshop that my friends and I have created over the last two weeks.
We've gotten pretty good with it, given the short amount of time we've messed with it..
instead of studying for exams.
Go figure.

Anyway...

Okay, so I'll start off with the stuff we did first.
Very basic copying/pasting for comedic effect...
Done by Kyle and myself.
The first:
Jim's 'public urination' picture, his "standard," if you will..:

Then the edited version, taken from another free-running picture night.

Not very well done, but funny nonetheless.
Then Kyle's:
an original picture from free running, nothing too special..

Edited:

(from a friend: "Is that mini Kyle in your hand?")
Indeed.
So that's how we STARTED, obviously nothing too special.......
but it gets better.

Here's an original photo from band banquet (also on my entry two entries ago):

Fine and dandy, except that our friend Tom couldn't make it to the banquet.
So we added him in.

Somewhat mediocre. It turned out alright since I was just messing around. Note that Kyle no longer has a tie on.
Then we decided to, since Tom (Chinese friend who I added in) has an obsession with anime, make a new picture for his enjoyment:

AH SO ANIME!
Haha. Yeah, it sucks, but we did it in five minutes and he thought it was hilarious.

So, onto the next stuff...
We figured out how to do some cool glow effects, as you will see in the next few photos:

Jim's emo picture from Krispie Kream, turned into an Oompa Loompa. (by Kyle)

Kyle's emo pic from KK, colors changed (by Kyle)

This next one is downright sickening: (by Kyle)

It was just Jim lying on his bed with his hands up in the air, but Kyle made it look pretty friggin' sweet.

Kyle takes a shot (by Kyle)..

Righto!
So, within a few days, we picked up on a bunch of cool techniques and whatnot...
The next few were done by myself with the help of Kyle, Jim, Peter, and sometimes Tom, for guidance.
Okay, this is a little lame.. (Kyle gets drafted)

The picture of him with the gun is real, the background was photoshopped.
Or, rather, he was photoshopped into Iraq with his AK-47.
This is an original photo from our shooting range training:

Me with the most powerful handgun in the world, the Smith & Wesson 500E. That thing has a massive recoil, let me tell you.
Anyway,
edited:

Ahhh! Freeze! Banana gun!

Silly, but I had fun making that.

This next one is silly too..
real image: me with a scope rifle..

Edited for (humorous) content.

I love that bear. His expression says to me "...what?"

Pretty lame, but blending the background took some effort.
The "phut" (the only way I can describe the effect between the guns) was thrown in because I was bored with it and wanted to save the project.
So until I make some explosive shot between them, it'll remain a "phut."

Anyway.
Onto the juicy stuff!
I like this, just.. because.
It's way anime.

So so anime.
Gotta love it. (Combined effort of Kyle and I.)

Okay now, this is stuff I've done very recently... adding celebrities to pictures of my friends.
They requested to be with a celebrity, I did what I could for them.
The following are works I'm quite proud of, and photos that my friends use as their facebook images now that I've made them.

Jim and Hillary Duff on the red carpet:

The quality suffered a bit, so I had to get rid of Hillary Duff.
Sorry, Hillary...
but instead, Jim chose Emmy somethinrorrather for his girl. I should know her name since I photoshopped them together, but I seem to have forgotten it. My apologies to any fans out there...

That one worked a whole lot better, so that's Jim's facebook image now.
Sweet.

This one I did fairly quickly, so I can't say the quality's GREAT, but Becky did appreciate it...

Becky and Owen Wilson.

Haha.. that was fun.

This next one I'm quite proud of..
backstory: my friend Kyle has a friend, Andrew, who is obsessed with Kate Beckinsale and plans to marry her someday.
To spite Andrew, Kyle asked me to pair him up with Kate, which took a little while but was very much worth it.

Lucky sap.
Hahaha. That one turned out really well.

(from Andrew: "oh, she will be mine.. she will be mine.")
At some point we decided we'd put Tom in a picture with a celebrity, but we couldn't think of any to put him with.
While he wasn't looking, we decided to add him to something... nationalistic.
He IS Chinese, after all...:

Hahaahah. Okay, that was mean.
Tom, if you see this, I'm sorry.
I'll make it up to you by putting up your cool ninja picture:

Yeah. There we go. That turned out quite well too.

For Peter, a good friend of mine I met fairly recently (who actually GAVE me photoshop), I decided to pair him up with Lindsey Lohan.
Not because I like her, but because she's pretty. And pretty is good for superhero pictures.

He's all like... "duty calls, baby." and she's like "no, don't go..."
Yeah. Just like that.
Note the crappiness of the bat signal and Lindsey's hand.
I'll fix those someday. No worries.

I think Becky got bored with Owen, so she decided to go for a more classy guy...:

William..Shatner...  of-... course!

This last one is great, I finished it about an hour ago:
Legally Blonde 3: Red, White, and Kyle.

Done fairly quickly, but..
come on.

Gotta love that expression, like "HEYYY, you're RIGHT! Check this out!"

Yeah yeah yeah.

Anyway.
Please comment!
I'd like to hear what you all think of my mediocre photoshopping skills!

And as an added bonus!
If you'd like to be photoshopped with any celebrities, let me know...
I'll do what I can.

In other news, I'm coming home on Friday. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Hope to hear and/or see from all of you soon.

Happy holidays!

-Brian
