Last night I busted out my fleecy winter PJs. Why? Becasue it was FREEZING in my room. I had all my blankets on plus these PJ's and it still took me forever to get warm. I ended up curling in a ball to make more use of my own body heat...and I can't sleep at all unless I'm on my stomach.. *sigh* I mean, I have to admit, I usually get cold ( Read more... )

Hey, how are you? I'm doing OK. Well, I'd like to introduce myself - my name is Heather and I'm originally from Stoneham, MA. I am currently going to Dean College in Franklin, MA where I am majoring in Musical Theatre and I graduate in 6 days with my Associate's Degree! Anyway, I noticed that you go to Massachusetts College Of Liberal Arts and I've applied to MCLA to transfer to in the fall, so I was wondering how you like it there and everything. Could you recommened any specific dorms or professors/classes to me - like what dorm I should try to get in to or what professors/classes to take or avoid, that sort of thing? Also, what's your major? If I go to MCLA, I'll be a fine and performing arts major with a concentration in theatre. Well, it's nice to meet you - I hope things are going well for you and take care!

Hi Heather :) I have to tell you straight off that I am not a particular fan of MCLA, however many people here like it. It's too small and confining, and theres not a lot to do here unless you have a car or have access to one. Although, I do have to admit, MCLA has a great FPA program. I myself am an English major, although I do have friends who are FPA majors, so I can't really tell you what professors to take/not to take, unless you are taking an English course. We always put on a play every year (if youre in it you can get credits for it) and we have a club on campus, Harlequin, which puts on a musical/play every year, so that might be of interest to you. We only have 3 dormitories, the Towers, Hoosac Hall, and the Townhouses. I HIGHLY recommend a townhouse, it's like having your own apartment. Hope this has been somewhat useful for you.. if you have any more questions or anything I can help you with, feel free to IM me on AIM: chronostyphoon21 Have a great night Heather! :)

It's always nice to meet new friends and people, and since you have a number of the same interests as me (although I am too lazy to modify my interests). As such, I am adding a fellow college student.
