Apparently one of the members of the Presidents of the United States of America went to Brown. Also they are still alive, kickin, and touring. I've been listening to some of their newer albums and they still rock it. Goofy fun and twangy, I recomend them to anyone who likes TMBG, Moxy Fruvous and the like.

Perhaps the idea of a man in a factory downtown putting peaches in a can represents the notion that males in industrial and post-industrial societies force females to submit and suppress their sexuality, thus resulting in the perpetuation of a male-dominant, heteronormative culture.

Oh no, I have been emasculated.

Also, that Wikipedia entry is making me crave some hot, hot Morphine slide bass action. Open fifth tuning + slide = rockin'.
