Yeah, it took me a while to get into Interpol too. I was so sick of every month some other "the" band being hyped up and kinda tuned out and missed them- plus I figured since I already had all of Joy Division's albums I wasn't missing much. But the girl's a big fan and got me into them (we even saw them at Lupo's last year when I visited which was awesome). And it's interesting how Paul Banks may channel Ian Curtis alot vocally but the comparisons between them and JD really stop there.

Antics is one of those albums I still can't escape from. I think I've been listening to it at the same steady rate for a full year. And I too actually like that it's a bit poppier than the last one (though Turn On The Bright Lights is amazing).

Oh and, fair warning, Serge is totally going to hate you now.
