seeking six pack

Jan 23, 2009 12:12

I will have a well defined six pack this year. I'm at a pretty low body fat% now, so technically this shouldn't take more than 6 months if I stay on a decent diet and work out routinely.

As of last night:

cutting is the new "cutting."

what routines are you on, i was doing a 5x5 program that involved a shitload of squats and my thighs got huge and my arms and back filled out but i was subbing cardio with H.I.I.T. and my metabolism got a lot better, but i still have a long way to go before i get that much definition.

hobie...maybe your company an employee discount gig or you can inquire it to them.

chris... how often are you gonna do the workouts? and which ones? if i remember correctly, the abs is one of the few muscles you can workout everyday and not hinder it's development/growth.
seems like you got it all planned out, the important stuff anyways, so it shouldn't be too hard for you. have fun with it.

I'm going to try to follow the program and see how it goes. Basically it starts off with doing an hour's worth of exercises a day, each focusing on a different workout (core synergistics, yoga, kenpo karate, chest/back resistance, stretching etc.) Pretty intense. But I'll be doing the ab ripper 3 times a week rather than just once.

I want this pretty bad, so I think I can do it.

might i suggest that you do the AB RIPPER once a week at first, then work your way up to twice, then up to 3 times a week ... otherwise, i think your abs will be in a LOT of pain.

this 'program' which one is it? it seems very universal and versatile. is it one through p90x? or something you found otherwise?
