It's weird that we were reading the same article without telling it to the other person. Anyway, I thought the article was great reporting with its in-depth look into a society that cares more about its image than the lives it destroys. I like how he broke it down into segments to let the whole thing be more digestible to readers. I also read some of the comments and I was upset with the attacks on the reporter's integrity. It's hard not to be "bias" when writing a piece you're passionate about, and I think he tried to be as fair to the story as possible. There are a lot of problems that go unnoticed and it's great that someone was able to stand back and go, "hey, this is really fucked up."
seriously Chris, change takes time. and effort, which you have a lot of. keep going at it, you got it in you. but you have to know: this isn't going to happen overnight or the next day; breaking old habits, making new ones, getting better at shit... it sucks, its hard. baby steps and time. and if all else fails, just RELAX for a fuckin day to reset, can't hurt too much.
