I had a really long entry that just sat there saving itself until it became outdated. Whoo go me.

So another conspiracy sci fi with fun inaccurate nuclear explanation included.

I was thinking about maybe a station somewhere remote, funding by some odd corporation with a bent on researching the things going wrong with the modern world. Facility to include nearly sentient super computer, nuclear reactor of some sort and almost mandatory experimental children. The project (which is unnamed as of now) is led by Dr. Alason Rastre.

Of course at this point something goes wrong, huge malfunction, etc. etc. and the facility is put out of contact with the funding corporation and world at large for two weeks before nuclear part of facility fucks itself and the facility is unapproachable for 230 days, or until the super rare radioactive thingy has decayed enough to be safe or as safe as it will ever be. Corporation declares the personnel dead, etc. and hires a recovery team to retrieve the important equipment. Main characters taken out of the recovery team: Lobo, Evak, Younge, Merich. They don't know each other. Mercenary types.

Pretty soon they figure out that things are not as the corporation said, and this includes but is not limited to the appearance of Dr. Rastre and the "survivors", including the creepy children, the eerie recordings repeated by certain monitors of the various former personnel ("Are you a slave to the modern age?" "Show no mercy! Show no fear!") and their liaison's, Mari Sichion, dogged insistence that they must complete the mission, even when it cannot possibly be completed.
