Next week looks completely EXCELLENT, and seriously, raise your hand if you did NOT think that both Rachel and Dan beat all tonight (because I will punch you in the face).
I'm with you on the Brooke/Julian, right up until the last scene, and then of course Austin Nichols has to go with his amazing Romantic Monologue skills. Sigh. Seriously, every romantic line on the show has been waiting for him.
CAMPING TRIP NEXT WEEK FOR THE WIN!
And I wish Mia and Chase would be included next week...
Dan Scott rocks, have I ever mentioned that? I was sure that he was going to out the hussy and save Nathan's reputation....but he plays it in such a way that you get that moment of "Uh...maybe he wont'...?" So I was clapping like a crazy seal when he totally pwned that situation.
Brooke and Julian...kind of an afterthought, and then - as you said - Austin Nichols comes in and just sweeps it. I think the whole audience went "Dreamy sigh!" at that point.
The girls/guys night out episodes are generally made of win, so I'm looking forward to next week. I do wish Mia and Chase were involved, though. They kind of flit in and out of other people's storylines, but don't really feel that involved. I'd like to see more focus on them, or at least, pull them into the group so they feel less like outcasts. Plus it would give Mouth less screentime, so you know I'm all for that.
Kitchen Confidential! Have we never talked about that before? I totally love that show. There should have been so much more of it!
Yeah, I totally thought that Dan had a crazy plan to save Nathan but I still thought that this show was only phase 1 and there wouldn't be a big reveal of what his motivations were until like three episodes later. Do you think he'll be invited out to Tree Hill for Thanksgiving now?
Oh my god, Kitchen Confidential. How excited am I that I have found a fellow fan? I honestly thought I was the only one who had ever seen it. Granted, I didn't see it when it was on the air. I just got a bit of a crush on B Coop after The Hangover and stumbled onto it. It was cheap and I'm easy, so there you go. However - I will totally admit that it's now one of my all-time favorites. It's hilarious! "Jim, go to your idiot hole."
Wouldn't a Thanksgiving OTH be made of win? I can just see Jamie inviting Dan and Rachel and the awkwardness that would ensue.
Like I told leobrat, I'm so excited I'm not the only one who loves Kitchen Confidential! Unfortunately, I didn't see it when it was on the air (though weren't there only a few episodes aired, if I recall correctly?), but I stumbled onto it and I'm SO glad I did. I would watch it for Owain Yeoman's character alone.
Owain. *drools* Loved him. So much. I loved the entire cast and their insane chemistry together but Owain was a standout. I loved that he got to use that delicious accent and I thoroughly enjoyed all of his delightful underhanded doings. Something is deeply wrong with me because I liked that character much, much more than the sweet lil' detective he plays on The Mentalist.
