So I just got a letter in the mail, saying that i have been nominated for the Global Young Leaders Conference. Apparently, becuase of my "academic achievements" they have requested that I go to this thing for 12 days during the summer, and either take the U.S. tour, and go to Washington D.C. and New York city, or go to Europe tour and visit cities ( Read more... )

lily went last summer and hated it. the trip was full of republicans from texas and she was the only democrat. dont do it.

I got the same thing. My parents looked at it and said "damn, that's expensive but if you really wanna go we can work something out (read: severe relentless torture.)
