I know how you feel about graduating, particularly about your friends. I didn't make a lot of friends in college, but my roommate Craig and I got along famously for the 2 years we were together...and I haven't heard from him since that day 7 years ago when we shook hands after commencement. I miss him sometimes.
Regarding "real life"...I'm going to misquote Doc Holliday in Tombstone: There's no real life. There's just life. Now go on and live it.
