Weighty issues

I'd like to note, proudly and for the permanent record, that since July 2003, I have lost and kept off 30 pounds. This was predominently achieved through Not Eating; a strategy which gets progressively harder to maintain. Any fool can tell you that fasting is not a reasonable way to lose weight, but it did work. I waver between eating healthily and Not Eating. I'm lazy.

Indulging in moderation supposedly is the key to not gaining excessively. I'll be trying to aspire in that direction. Luckily, I'm not a particularly hungry person, and I hate cooking most times because it's work. Effort. Effort bad.

Walking when there's a convenience available, eating light snacks before going to a party, drinking lots of water... they're all supposed to help. Good luck.

Effort bad, yes. I prefer to leave food preparation to professionals, heh.

Drinking water is what I've found to be the most helpful regimen; it's amazing to see minor weight fluctuations on days when I drink lots of water versus days when I don't.

The worst part about cooking is cleaning up afterwards. That's the part I can't countenance on a worknight.

Need to drink more water. Constant note-to-self. Clears brain fog, too!
