I love how we only care about the mass loss of human life when a great natural disaster is the cause. These messages that say "Please pray for the tsunami victims" and "I send my love and prayer to the tsunami victims" are touching but ultimately useless and mildly offensive. I have seen few messages saying "I'm praying for the Iraqi civilians,"

I agree, some people are simply trained to react to disaster and misfortune the way a dog rolls over when its master orders so. No, Shoogy is an exception to this analogy.
