Saturday was the ride. Steeper than the last one, but on a way better course. Most of the roads were very low traffic with excellent views of the valley or the ocean. The folks at Santa Cruz County Cycling Club really know how to organize a ride. The rest stops were perfectly spaced, with water stops at the top of large climbs in between the rest

BTW, I totally understand re: Corrin's bedtime being aroudn the time I get off work - if you all are ever up here on a weekend let me know and maybe we can meet up.

I might be free on a weekend soon. How about Aug the 26th? I mean, barring any going into labor on the part of a certain housemate.

8/26 might work - I am having lunch in downtown Oakland with a friend, and then we might go over to the festival part of the east bay dyke march aka Sistahs Steppin in Pride (yes, that is what it's called) which is at a park near 19th St BART. So, the morning and the mid afternoon and beyond are free.

Yep, Michelle (the housemate) is due on Sept 5th. So that's real close to the end of august.

I think the late afternoon will work fine. We almost never are able to get out of the house for a big trip until 1pm anyways, which puts us there at 2 or 3.
