Where are you commuting to? (Heh, Oakland/emeryville is the one hour mark on Amtrak (which I now take to Santa Clara on Fri,Sat,, Sun)

I didn't know such a dongle existed. It's such a friggen shame that wifi turned out to be so bungled by those who wound up actually making it happen. It could have been such a neat technology.

and it felt as though I might as well have written it, except that I'd add to the list of desiderata "Isn't (intentionally by Verizon?) crippled by with a ridiculously small NAT table to preclude efficient bittorrent usage". I do have an old PC but no wireless card for it and I'm not *really* a sysadmin type so I'd be cutting my teeth. For hours. And Hours. And hours.
