Thanks to babyshazam and a-chan's translation of Yamapi's letter I think I had to express my thoughts here on LJ too because basically I share NEWS and Yamapi's stuffs..
Blaming a man who wants to pursue his dream, is that the right thing to do? Should you cut a bird's wings to stop it from flying away?
We live only once, we exist in this world only once and we can do things only once in a lifetime.. Should we cherish this one life and do things that we want?
Fans got hurt, they cried over his decision on leaving NEWS and many started hating him..but Yamapi has feelings too.He has a heart too, he's a human who has feelings and can get hurt as well. After all we're all humans.
The one who can move on here are the oh-so called fans.. Yamapi won't also move on if those fans keeps on blaming him, hating him just because he breaths and wakes up in the morning. It's like whatever he does is wrong, every single move he makes is a sin. Can an idol who is also a human will be able to live in this way? Is it that bad to mention NEWS since they've been together for so many years?
To those who were supporting NEWS from their very first debut as 9 to 8,7 and into 6 members should know how Yamapi was an important person to the group too. Didn't we laugh and cry while watching their concerts as 6 members? Didn't we support them on their activities as 6?
It saddens me that people already forgot that NEWS had also Yamapi on it... shouldn't we atleast "cherish" those memories? Is hatred more important in situations like this? Those people who judge him without knowing him personally, who says his tears were fake, can you call yourself a better person? Do you think NEWS 4nin would be happy to know you've been bashing out their former leader? I just feel upset and sorry to those people who closed their hearts and let the hatred surrounds their feelings.
Fans shouldn't split in this way.. isn't it a bit regretful that the united NEWS fans are now divided into those who supports Yamapi and those who supports NEWS?
In my case I still support both of them. I thank Yamapi because he's the one who got me into NEWS group, whether it will be 6 or 4 members I will support them forever. Because the world of fandom should be a happy place and not a war land.
From now on I would like that those fans who still supports Ryo of K8 will also support Yamapi in the same way. Because Yamapi is also doing his best..
To Yamapi: It breaks my heart that you're blaming yourself and also cried in the middle of your performance.. They say that it's rare to see a man who shed tears and if he does, it hurts more than seeing a girl who cries.
I just want you to know that you're not alone, I will always support you till the end. If only I can do something for you, I'll cover your eyes and ears so that you won't read and hear any negative comments because I know you always do your best and we (fans) recognize all your efforts.
Hopefully next time when we will see you cry, they'll be tears of joy because when Yamapi is in pain, the fans are also in pain.
