I was inspired to come from behind the Sheldon facade and declare that this is Daniel's Journal. Thank you C. For a long time, I have been trying to think of a new name to replace "daniel" because I have never been used to being called Daniel... and had no interest in it until recently. you remember that cartoon that was the friends of the garfield and friends TV show. The little egg guy was Sheldon, I think. Anyway that name reminded me of an egg. If you want a new name I suggest um, i have no suggestions. I know many fine people named Daniel, it is a noble name.

I was thinking that exact thing when I decided to take the name Sheldon. I had that cartoon in my mind and my favorite character was always the egg named sheldon with the legs hanging out of the bottom. And maybe it was david that suggested it-I think we thought of it at the same time, but I liked it and stuck to it for a trial. BUT as david pointed out one time- Sheldon is quite depressing because he always tried to break out of his shell and he was always stuck with what he was left with. I guess its a struggle that we are all faced with- wanting to be something more than we are and wanting to show people who we truly are(free from our egg shell) right now. THe problem is the "right now" part. We all evolve and change and over time maybe we can be that ideal chick without the egg, but right now- I guess we all have to be content and maybe even excited about who we are at present.
