I loved the entire feel of this story. The way Jesse felt things but was trying to down-play them is a really realistic, rational and grown-up way to deal with messy emotions, I think. Your writing conveyed that beautifully.

Ah! This is so painful and perfect and oh-so-very beautiful. The prose is gorgeous and I loved the use of gifs. I feel like there's a hole in my heart but not in a bad way. Fantastic work!
