I theorized when he became president that his first two years were going to be a nightmare. There's just too much shit to clean up and I dont think god could come in and get everything looking good in just a couple months (like it seems this incredibly impatient short attention spanned country seemed to be expecting.) I figure his ground work will start to really pay off in the final two years and hopefully set him up well for reelection. In another seven years hopefully Palin won't be as "pretty" anymore and everyone will lose interest in anything she has to say.

All in all, yeah, I agree with your post Josh. How bout that.

Hows Frisco treatn you lately?

But a lot of people have pointed out that most presidents get their major stuff done in their first year when their public support is high. If he wasnt able to accomplish much in his first 2 years I'd worry his support would erode and he wouldnt be able to get much done after that. Like you said there was so much shit to clean up, the question is if the stuff he did in the first year was enough to get people to believe he was doing a good job, or if theyd be impatient like you said and expect him to do everything.

Luckily things seem to be going well. After the ridiculous health care furor dies down I believe people will realize what a good thing it is, and the more people realize the repubs are so full of shit the better things get. If we can get the economy to start visibly picking up before his first term is over I think he can cruise into a 2nd

Actually frisco has been good, i've got an update on that soon
