The psych stuff has nothing to do with weight, although if you're taking certain meds to help with them, they can cause weight gain.

There is a clinic in my town that does open MRIs. You might want to check and see if there is one in your area. You can stand or lie down and the machine rotates around you. No tube to go into! I have had 2 MRIs this year and I have to take something before them or I start to have a panic attack from being closed it. *hugs*

btw, you will never get motivated to lose weight unless you are doing it for yourself. Try making mini goals for yourself and don't worry about a huge weight loss. Your fiance should be there to support you in your efforts, not make ultimatums about weight loss. I recommend this site for support.

These illnesses do not define you, and neither does your weight. Your boyfriend needs some more education on your illnesses. They're not caused by weight.

*gentle hugs* Hang in there.

Are you a member of the fibro community? They're a great supportive group.

Yeah, i'm a member of two fibro communities, but I kinda thought this post would be off-topic there. I do get a lot of support and am grateful for them though.

For what it's worth, I don't think it would be off topic.

I hope you're having a better evening.
