Laundry...Development? I got nothing.

Why is it that laundry creates a block so strong that it manifests itself like a physical Berlin Wall in the paths of our every day going-ons? It really isn't much work. You take dirty things, put them in a bag, walk a block (for me anyway), put them in a machine, put in a couple dollars, and walk away. You do roughly the same procedure one more
