Work has been busy and slammed with backup paperwork because my old co-worker left. We got a staff that was basically dumped to our department, because they didn't want her at the front desk. I was absolutely full of joy when my manager told me i could take x-mas off!! Its quite rare in my industry for that to happen, i was able to get 3 weeks off (paid too), so I've decided to go back to HK and give my mom a little surprise for x-mas, ME! haha ain't that great huh? ahha. Mon- Met up with my friend Sally whom i met in Paris, and had Hag. Ice cream with Brownie.. MM! Her friend joined us later and we had a conversation in french, kinda weird in London. Sooo another bombing, this time I was getting out of the tube at Earls Court and i was rushed out by police/securities, then i hopped on to a bus to my new flat. They said there was another security issue... well little did i know i was riding Bus 28 towards Notting Hill. I might be getting my own flat finally this friday, not sure yet though cause the deposit is huge and i am struggling abit to get it together. Today was a beautiful sunny day in London, although scars has not been healed yet from the bombing, I can see that the city is alive again. I went to look for a flat today, but only managed to get to the entrance of the flat before i found out that it was taken already. Um... forget about what i said in my last journal. I turned on the TV after writing the journal today to find out that the security incident was 4 different tube bombings + a few bus. And err.. this morning i missed my first train from distict by 1 sec., so i had to wait another 10 mins. I think that 10min made the difference of being alive ( Read more... )
