I just subscribed to you over at dreamwidth not that I know how to navigate over there at all, so I'm glad you're staying here too.

I've subscribed to a couple of others who've provided direct links like you did & I thank you for that because I haven't figured out how to friend people over there at all. I'm afraid I'm just losing people who have moved over there if they haven't provided a link.

I don't suppose you know this - will I get email notices from dreamwidth when you post something new there or am I supposed to go to the Reading Page (as they call it) & check to find out myself?

Again, thanks for the direct link so I could easily subscribe to you on dreamwidth, & thanks for continuing on here at LJ too!

hi there! thank you for being so understanding. we can all make this happen! :D

i noticed that if you're on the main page for the comm, you'll see the icon and right underneath are a series of tiny icons. there's a bell icon there, when i hover over it, it says, "receive notifications." that'll take you to a page where you can get updates when someone posts or comments. :) hope that helps!

I did it! Perfect directions! I thought the "bell" was a slice of pie so I better increase my font size!

I'm going to make sure I select this feature for anyone/community I subscribe to.

P.S. Don't suppose you know if dreamwidth has a "pdf download" feature like AO3 does? Sorry, not trying to take advantage of you, so feel free to ignore this!

Glad that worked! I mostly figure things out by poking at them lol. My job is to direct people to online resources, so this is not a problem for me. I googled your question and poked around, and there is no way to directly download things like AO3 offers. But! I found you a great way to figure out how: https://tzikeh.dreamwidth.org/657346.html

Would you want people to upload their stories to the com there? Or would you maybe prefer that everyone that can or want to make an entry with links to stories you written and have stored elsewhere?

Thanks so much for doing this! It's really nice to know that people are at least copying everything in the comms - just in case. (Just today, I've had five of my six icons deleted by lj... so I'm totally understanding the "jumping ship" mentality atm!)
