New bread maker of awesome is right! : ) I agree 100%, because I have been lusting after a bread maker...dreaming of getting a bread maker for the past 2-3 years! I actually put one in my cart at Target in Hawaii a few years ago and Noboru talked me out of it! : ( Gah!!! : ) I am a total bread lover. I will live vicariously through your family's bread maker if you don't mind. : ) Also I wanted to ask a question, is it easy to find bread making supplies here in Japan? You know, like flour and ingredients? I see regular bread flour at the store for white bread but wondered about like wheat flour etc.

The smell of freshly baked bread in your place must be AWESOME! : )

good question there. i asked hubs about the baking supplies, and he says that if you want anything special, like wheat flour, you'll have to search for it, or even buy it online. since you guys live so close to a costco, i'm sure they sell some foreigner favorite baking supplies in bulk :)

hubs hasn't stopped making bread since we got the bread maker, so it's been worth it. the bread is awesome to eat every morning too. he made some banana flavored bread this morning. not the usual banana bread that we're used too, but it was good none the less. i think my favorite is still the rice bread that is both "mochi mochi" and "fuwa fuwa" ^_^

thanks for the comment!
