wireless providers

So I currently have Verizon wireless, but my phone is dying (display and a few dropped calls). So I start looking for new phones and decide I really want a bluetooth phone, unfortunately verizon is a bitch about this.

So I look at other carriers, and the att/cingular group has good bluetooth phones, but I have no idea about the service. Any

Verizon has consistantly had the best service for me.

Sprint, AT&T and T-mobile are all great choices if you don't really actually want to TALK on your cell phone. Shitty service in elevators, basements, parks, etc. I'd say give them some time to see if they develop some bluetooth phones and then if you're still not happy make a move.

Verizon has one bluetooth phone but it's close to 300 bucks. Amazon has a deal where you make money off of the ATT / Cingular phones(200 bucks!), and since they're merging, the phones use both their towers. One additional plus is their GSM based phones can be used in over 100 countries and I may be traveling soon.

Anyway, it certainly sounds good on paper, but hearing others complain makes me think twice.

so when are you back in Seattle?

Larry and I and both our adult children have had ATT continuously since we got cell phones. We also use them (and have, always) for our inline phone service. We have never had any problems whatsoever!
