Booked a fancy hotel for mardi gras(all the hotels jacked up their prices, so now the fancy ones aren't that much more, wahah!). Now I get a rooftop pool. Of course it would be cheaper if I stayed with my aunt, either of them, but I'm pretty sure they already have company and it'd be nice to have some freedom

Dude, what hotel? I stayed at one there one time with a rooftop pool... and it was fancy.

I got hit on a bunch in a gay bar (the girls we were with wanted to go there). I found it really flattering. :)
