For those keeping tabs, I had a spectacular weekend in Chicago with Maria and Josh and finished with an 88% completion on my famous Nivison List. Though I kept my eyes peeled, I never even caught a glimpse of Zimbra1006, not even at Shedd's on Sunday where she was scheduled to be. For shame. Yes. I was promptly arrested.

I did go to Navy Pier with you two and I remember it as being kind of blahsay, so I didn't chance it again. Plus, mad bikers everywhere on the riverfront threatened my every step. Maria was determined to ride the "vertical spinning thing", aka ferris wheel, so she went after we left. Said there were many things Josh would have liked - magic shops and tattoo parlors, namely.

Yeah, we ended up going to Shedd on Monday because we couldn't drag our lazy asses out of bed on Sunday. My apologies.

Was the aquarium insanely crowded on Monday? I liked the first "time traveler" in the dolphin show who used the old-time 30's man announcer voice. Hell, I even liked the flower child and grunge rocker. I'd like to see them battle with the disrespectful nature-hurter who made appearances throughout the show.

My favorite were the Beluga whales. Period.
