Without incident.

The James family -- who'd all along claimed descent from the famed Jesse, but weren't -- were at first disappointed, then angered that The End hadn't come.

Actually, I'm waiting for a "War Of The Worlds" type radio show to take the nation by storm. Granted, there's the 2012 movie, which is apparently a special effects extravaganza all-be-it only 3 years premature. But I wonder what would happen if some low budget "house" theater production would do the same thing now that it did back then. . .

On an unrelated note, how would you feel about being the voice of the "Central American Anthropologist" in a radio production I'm writing?

The first thing to pop into my mind was "Glenn Beck's War of the Worlds."

I Googled for it and found only one article...

Now do you mean an anthropologist from Central America, or an expert on Central American anthropology who lives somewhere else? If you mean the former, I don't think you can count on me to do very good accents ( ... )
