I would be interested to see an interpretation of their relationship that argued that Zeus was cuckold.

(forgot to respond to this one earlier -- not that I'll have much to say...)

As far as I can tell, Hera never cheated on Zeus in the various bits of known mythology. (Somehow that make the incest angle seem creepier.)

Maybe a lost bit of mythology could be "discovered," along with a previously unknown god produced from that affair, or maybe the revelation that one of Zeus' children wasn't his.
