well whoopie! Congrats on the take off!!! Your trip looks beautiful so far...you better take it all in because the more south you travel the less green you will see. I look forward to future posts and my prayers are with you :0D

Whoa! I just noticed that the satelite photo at the top of this page has the aftermath of the Waldo Lake forest fire. (It's that lake east of Oakridge.) I was there when that happened. No, I didn't start it.

The aftermath is that big brown patch north of the lake wher all the trees burnt down.
