Although a mix of some of those more notorious hounds, Kiedis is long on love and short on vitriol. So short in fact I never saw him angry even when people would scrunch up his face or stick their fingers in ( Read more... )

Word. If I somehow manage a liveable income, it'd be nice to move back to Oregon. This has been my first year where I haven't experienced an Autumn so it's a little disorientating. But forget about fields of wheat, you need to go to a corn row maze and a pumpkin patch. They have quite the collection out on Sauvie Island just norhtwest of Portland. Plus you can see Saint John's Bridge (designed by the same guy who did Golden Gate). And and and... yeah. It's neat.

That love of Italian food may come from pre-natal and many more post-natal meals at Mazzi's Italian restaurant in Eugene. Calzone, anyone? (I doubt that having Italian relatives has anything to do with it, but you never know....)

That's true, I did have a nice up bringing in regards to Italian cuisine, but it was also a consideration of breadth. They have pastas, breads, poultry, steak, desserts, desserts, and more desserts. Plus all those fancy drinks. I figured this would allow me the most flexible edible schedule.

By the way, I still haven't decided whether I'll be coming down for Thanksgiving or Christmas. If I came down for Thanksgiving I'd probably end up staying till Christmas just so we could all be together. Would that be TOO long? Heck, maybe it'd be long enough that I could do some work while down there!

Love ya,
Son.
